Job Description
As the Academy Manager, you will establish, develop, and take ownership of our training and development function, ensuring it aligns with the company’s strategic objectives and drives both individual and organizational growth. You will work together with a diverse team and work closely with regional offices, internal stakeholders, and external partners to design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs that enhance skills, meet compliance standards, and support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish & Develop the Company Academy: Own and develop the vision, strategy, and execution of training programs for both external customers/partners and internal employees. Ensure alignment with business goals and evolving company needs.
- Create & Execute Training Programs: Design and implement a comprehensive training curriculum covering product knowledge, safety regulations, and operational skills, as well as certifications required for internal resources (e.g., Service Engineers).
- Performance Tracking & Improvement: Continuously evaluate training outcomes, gather feedback, and analyze results to ensure programs are effective and aligned with both short-term and long-term organizational goals.
- Compliance & Certification Management: Oversee certification programs, ensuring compliance with safety standards and other necessary regulations, including for internal workshop facilities.
- Cross-Regional Alignment: Work with regional offices to ensure consistency and alignment in training approaches and content across global teams.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team, collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to deliver high-quality training experiences.
- Strategic Development: Drive the evolution of the training function in line with the company’s growth, expanding portfolio, and emerging market needs. Utilize data and insights to inform decisions and future planning.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven leadership experience managing teams or groups, preferably in a matrix organization.
- Strong experience in training development, education, or talent development within a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align training programs with organizational goals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights from complex data and make actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and making decisions with limited information.
- Experience with certifications and compliance management, particularly in safety or technical fields, is a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed to support regional offices or training initiatives.
