What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Receive, screen, and schedule appointments for callers and walk-in customers
• Maintain and manage current schedules and rosters for staff and group programs
• Notify customers of staff absences and reschedule appointments as needed
• Enroll customers in workshops, classes, and individual appointments
• Participate in emergency response exercises and ensure data entry for services provided

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High school diploma or GED and two years of administrative support experience in a medical or social service office
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to respond effectively in crisis situations
• Experience with multi-tasking and managing multi-line telephone systems
• Understanding and sensitivity towards diverse backgrounds of military personnel and their families
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Knowledge of the FFSMIS system is desirable but not mandatory
• Experience in scheduling services and providing customer service in a healthcare environment
