What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Assist in planning, developing, testing, and documenting Search Portfolio products for the Department of Defense
• Apply business process improvement practices to modernize projects and enhance methodologies
• Support agency teams in the development and management of milestones, goals, and deliverables
• Coordinate technical efforts to support AI/ML-enabled indexing and retrieval of unstructured data
• Develop plans, roadmaps, and software design strategies while ensuring compliance with standards

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (math, science, accounting, economics, finance, business administration, operations research, project management, or engineering) plus 5-7 years of experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of experience
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and the Product Owner role within the Scaled Agile Framework
• Ability to synthesize requirements and create user stories and tasks for a product backlog
• Proven experience coordinating product backlogs across development teams
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD tooling

• Experience working with software and data engineers in developing containerized environments
• Knowledge of modern software architectures, including microservices and front-end frameworks
• Track record of active learning and creative problem-solving in multi-domain environments
• Understanding of multi-intelligence systems and activity-based models
