Biological Operator for Fermentation Processes

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production equipment including fermenters, centrifuges, and spray dryers.
• Uphold a clean production environment by adhering to hygiene and GMP practices.
• Utilize computer systems for tracking information, inventory management, and documentation of processes.
• Actively participate in promoting workplace safety and following our safety culture.
• Engage in a continuous improvement process by learning and applying LEAN manufacturing concepts.
• Document and complete required process paperwork accurately.

Required Skills

• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a team.
• Capacity to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving up to 50 lbs, and maintaining mobility throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required; higher education in relevant fields such as Biology or Engineering is strongly preferred.
• Availability for night and weekend shifts, including 12-hour work schedules.
• Ability to consistently navigate steps and work at elevated heights.
