Job Description
We seek a seasoned and results-oriented Vice President – People & Culture to lead our human resources function. In this critical role, you’ll be instrumental in shaping our company’s growth by developing and executing HR strategies that directly support ixigo’s business objectives across the group and its lines of businesses and brands – ixigo, Confirmtkt, Abhibus etc. The ideal candidate is a passionate and experienced HR leader with a proven track record of success in fast-paced, high-growth tech companies.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute HR strategies: Align our HR initiatives with our overall business goals, covering areas like talent acquisition, development, engagement, retention, and compensation.
- Build an empathetic and high-performance culture: Foster a culture that encourages empathy, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Improve the employee experience: Regularly gather feedback and implement initiatives that boost employee satisfaction, engagement, and well-being.
- Lead talent acquisition & management: Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, career development, and succession planning.
- Boost retention & engagement: Develop and implement strategies to minimize attrition, especially among high-demand tech roles. Design and execute engaging programs to motivate our employees, such as team-building activities, social events, and recognition programs.
- Compliances & Audits: Be responsible for all regulatory compliance pertaining to labour laws, human resources, local regulations where we have offices, as well as internal and external audits that relate to People, Compensations & Benefits.
- Develop & administer compensation & benefits: Create and manage competitive compensation and benefits packages that attract and retain top talent.
- Invest in learning & development: Design and implement practical training and development programs to enhance employee skills and foster career growth.
- Manage employee relations: Effectively, including addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
- Make data-driven decisions: Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of our HR programs, and make informed decisions.
- Lead & mentor your team: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR team.
- Drive organizational change: Guide the organization through periods of change, such as restructuring or organizational development initiatives.
- Foster a diverse & inclusive workplace: Create a diverse and inclusive workplace culture that values and respects all employees.
- Administrative & Offices: Drive admin teams to keep offices running smoothly and maintain global standards on all items that impact employee experience.
- Group level Integration and projects: Manage initiatives at the group level that pertain to HR processes and initiatives, and help integrate mergers and acquisitions from a people charter perspective and align all processes and playbooks in line with the group’s philosophy.
What you’ll bring:
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience in high-growth internet, e-commerce, or technology companies.
- A proven track record of developing and executing successful HR strategies in fast-paced environments.
- An AI mindset to improve work processes and drive efficient outcomes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems.
- A strategic mindset, a proactive approach to challenges, and a strong ability to adapt to change.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- An engineering background is preferred, though not mandatory
