Role Overview

We are seeking a PR & Communications Manager to lead our brand storytelling, media relations, and community engagement. This role is responsible for crafting compelling narratives, securing press coverage, managing partnerships, and fostering a vibrant online and offline community. The ideal candidate has a strong background in PR, communications, and social media, with a passion for the wedding, luxury, and lifestyle industries.

Key Responsibilities

Public Relations & Media Engagement

  • Develop and execute PR strategies to elevate Wedded Wonderland’s brand visibility in Australia and internationally.
  • Cultivate relationships with media, influencers, and industry stakeholders to secure press coverage, collaborations, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and brand communications, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Identify and pitch newsworthy stories to top-tier publications, digital platforms, and broadcast media.
  • Monitor and report on media coverage, brand sentiment, and PR performance.

Content & Brand Communication

  • Develop and oversee brand messaging across all platforms, ensuring a cohesive and engaging voice.
  • Manage internal and external communications, including newsletters, blog content, website updates, and corporate announcements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create social media content, campaign messaging, and promotional materials.
  • Support executive communications and thought leadership, including speeches, interviews, and panel discussions.

Community Management & Engagement

  • Oversee and nurture Wedded Wonderland’s online and offline communities, fostering relationships with couples, vendors, and brand partners.
  • Develop and manage community engagement strategies, including exclusive events, online discussions, and ambassador programs.
  • Act as the brand voice in digital conversations, responding to community inquiries and engaging audiences across social media, forums, and email channels.
  • Implement community-driven initiatives such as live Q&As, industry roundtables, and networking opportunities.
  • Monitor trends, feedback, and sentiment, using insights to inform PR and communication strategies.

Event & Partnership Communications

  • Support event PR and media outreach, ensuring high-profile attendance and coverage.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with brands, influencers, and media to amplify Wedded Wonderland’s reach.
  • Manage collaborations with industry leaders, vendors, and tourism boards to drive visibility and engagement.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years experience in PR, communications, or community management, preferably in weddings, lifestyle, fashion, or luxury industries.
  • Strong network of media, influencers, and industry contacts.
  • Exceptional copywriting, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing social media communities and brand engagement.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing PR campaigns that generate media coverage.
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Passion for weddings, events, and luxury branding.
