Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and Commissioning:
  • Construction & execution of 66 kV lines, PSS, GSS and other renewable energy related project electrical works.
  • Coordinate with contractors and ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and project timelines.
  • Oversee the testing and commissioning of installed systems to verify proper operation and compliance with standard electrical specifications.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including drawings, installation records, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations.
  • Co-ordination and Communication:
  • Work closely with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and external/internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Participate in project meetings, provide technical input, and address any electrical engineering-related issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of [5-7] years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically with 66 kV transmission lines or similar high-voltage systems.
  • Experience with 66 KV EHV – PSS – GSS projects and knowledge of outdoor-indoor switchgear, Power transformer commissioning is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of electrical drawing and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention on day-to-day planning.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
