Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and strategy: guide and lead the Corporate Communications and Social Media team, providing leadership to achieve strategic communication goals and ensuring milestones are met in alignment with departmental objectives.
- Project management: Prioritise projects effectively, ensuring deliverables are met within established timeframes, while adapting to shifting business priorities and requirements.
- Content oversight: Write, edit, and review communication and marketing materials to ensure messaging is clear, accurate, appropriate, and aligned with
department objectives.
- Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring communications are responsive to their needs.
- Team collaboration and culture: Foster a positive, collaborative team environment, contributing to a culture of support, customer service, and shared
success.
- Ethical leadership: Demonstrate ethical decision-making and uphold a respectful, culturally sensitive approach to all communications and interactions within the department.
Key Qualifications And Experience:
- Proven experience in a leadership or senior management role in corporate communications and social media.
- Strong experience in project management, with a proven ability to prioritise and deliver projects to meet strategic objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft messaging that is clear, concise, and impactful.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence outcomes, and collaborate across diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Experience working with senior leadership to align communications strategies with broader departmental goals.
- A track record of fostering positive team culture, customer service, and collaboration.
