The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data engineering using Python, web application development using Angular, and back end development using C#. This role requires a proactive individual who can think independently, adapt to changing requirements, and develop solutions from high level project goals. Primary job role· ¿ Design and implement scalable data processing pipelines using Python. ¿ Knowledge of data architectures like delta lake, data warehouse etc. ¿ Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to assist with data related technical issues and support their data needs. ¿ Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader. ¿ Develop and maintain web applications with a focus on front end development using Angular. ¿ Write robust back end code in C# to support web application functionalities. ¿ Recommend and implement ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality. ¿ Work closely with cross functional teams to understand project objectives and translate high level requirements into effective technical solutions. ¿ Conduct code reviews, maintain code quality, and ensure best practices are followed. ¿ Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. ¿ Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to operations and activities. Qualifications ¿ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. ¿ Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, or similar role. ¿ Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks (ETL/ELT). ¿ Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets. ¿ Experience with big data tools is desirable: Spark, Kafka, etc. ¿ Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools is desirable: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc. ¿ Experience with Azure cloud services and resources is a plus ¿ Experience with stream processing systems is desirable: Storm, Spark Streaming, etc. ¿ Excellent communication and teamwork skills. ¿ Azure certifications are desired Experience: ¿ Minimum of 2 years working in a production Azure cloud or large enterprise IT environment supporting the required technologies ¿ The role would suit an experienced full stack developer with Azure knowledge and data engineering skills Personal abilities: ¿ Ability to work alone on focused projects ¿ Ability to manage own time efficiently ¿ Ability to convey ideas to technical and non technical audiences ¿ Ability to work to deadlines and targets ¿ Ability to work in global, multi discipline teams ¿ Proactivity and full personal responsibility in all aspects of the technical and team role ¿ A logical mindset and structural approach to troubleshooting/fault finding Additional Information Interviews and selections are being made continuously.
