Job Description
Teaming with all aspects of the customer’s organization. Skills required to build relationships across an account include creative thinking, articulating a clear vision, and generating enthusiasm, to impact all business groups.
Selling at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.
Work with all appropriate Emerge resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, etc.) to support customer interests, and will understand how to strongly advocate for their customers and balance that with the business needs of Emerge. This includes dotted-line responsibility for downstream sales and technical resources. Some travel may be required from time to time.
- Development of formal case studies and other forms of references highlighting activity and workloads running on Eemerge is core to the role.
- Ensure long-term, profitable customer relationships
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships to help enhance the Emerge brand
- Develop and manage sales initiatives to support business growth
- Monitor customer satisfaction
- Analyze account profitability, taking cultural and technological advancements into consideration
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred, not required
- Account management experience with strong customer-facing skills
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Awareness of industry changes that may affect business operations
- Networking skills
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Ability to craft business solutions to complex business problems
