Job Title: Corporate Account Manager

Department: Corporate Billing Office

Reports to: VP of Revenue Cycle Services

FLSA Status: Exempt

Employment Status: Full-Time

Position Summary

As a Corporate Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing Business Office Manager (BOM) duties at Skilled Nursing Facilities with BOM vacancies. You will provide training and feedback on BOM performances, ensuring the implementation of Dynasty’s Core Values: Compassion, Honesty, Integrity, Respect, and Passion. Your role involves creating and implementing innovative ideas and concepts to improve systems and processes for superior results.

Education/Training/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or
  • Five years of related experience and/or training, or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to follow instructions and work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and grammatical skills for effective verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to interact with all levels of management.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred experience with Point Click Care (PCC) billing system and National Data Care Resident Funds Management System (RFMS).
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints.
  • Ability to write and present speeches and articles using innovative techniques or style.
  • Proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, database activity, word processing, spreadsheet applications, and graphics.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Physical Job Classification

  • Works in office areas and throughout the facility.
  • Heavy overnight travel (up to 50%) by land and/or air.
  • Subject to frequent interruptions and hostile or emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel, and visitors.
  • Works beyond normal working hours, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Subject to call back during emergency conditions.
  • Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.
  • Subject to injury from falls, burns, odors, and reactions from dust, disinfectants, tobacco smoke, and other air contaminants.
  • Exposure to infectious waste, diseases, and hazardous chemicals.

  • Follow established safety regulations, including fire protection/prevention, smoking regulations, and infection control.
  • Follow ergonomics policies and procedures to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information.
  • Ensure residents’ rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property, and civil rights are maintained at all times.

Core Skills And Competencies

  • Serve independently as interim BOM for facilities with BOM vacancies.
  • Coordinate training of new BOMs.
  • Perform bi-monthly site visits to each facility and complete site visit reports.
  • Work closely with facility staff and Corporate Director on special projects related to Revenue Cycle.
  • Oversee front-end collections of A/R balances due from residents.
  • Monitor Medicaid Pending accounts for resolution.
  • Responsible for resident trust accounting and compliance with government regulations and company policy.
  • Attend facility meetings as required.
  • Provide Corporate Billing Office with additional billing information to clear claim edits and rejections.
  • Coordinate responses to various audit requests.
  • Assist new BOMs with month-end closing and other special projects.
  • Conduct exit meetings with facility Administrators to review results of interim assignments or site visits.
  • Provide weekly reports to the Corporate Director with updates on action plan items.
  • Keep Corporate Director abreast of current state, federal, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
