Chief Executive Officer

Compensation: $150K + equity

Our client has created the world’s first universal smart key that replaces your passwords and keys. Using military grade security, our client’s product wirelessly unlocks your phone, computer, tablet, and automatically logs you into your online accounts when you’re nearby, then locks everything down when you walk away. They are also working on a way for it to connect to door locks, cars, and other access-controlled devices too. They are currently looking for an experienced and motivated CEO to join their team. This position can sit remotely (virtual) anywhere in the US.

As the CEO, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Networking with high-profile investors to obtain additional funding for the Company
  • Work with other internal stakeholders on various initiatives and projects
  • Creating and scaling industry-standard operational processes for the Company
  • Ensuring all corporate initiatives are executed in a timely and optimal manner
  • Building out the Company business infrastructure
  • Act as the “face” of the Company at various fundraising and public events

As the CEO, your background should include:

  • Extensive business experience, preferably at the C-Level in an enterprise environment (startup experience is required)
  • Experience in negotiating successful deals with large companies (F100-500+)
  • Experience scaling a company to $10M+ARR (with the hopes of getting to $100M ARR)
  • Specific knowledge working in product development and engineering
  • Proven track record in B2B sales and marketing preferred
  • Experience of successful fundraising at various stages
  • Enterprise technology and SaaS experience
  • Knowledge of product subscription and licensing is a major plus
  • Strong experience fundraising multiple rounds, with a strong network of Tier 1 investors
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills understanding people and their motivations, and the ability to articulate and work through differences that may arise
  • Ability to manage projects/people and drive them to create positive outcomes
  • Extreme attention to detail, highly focused, stellar organization skills, and a passion for helping others
  • Strong knowledge of the investment community and scaling a business/franchise
  • Extensive presentation experience and abilities
