Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end field sales of our companys software solutions, including GST Software, XBRL Filing Software, and other related products. This is a field sales role that will require frequent travel to meet clients in person. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to generate business opportunities while engaging with clients face-to-face.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end field sales activities, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Identify and target potential clients for software solutions within assigned territories.
  • Travel extensively for field sales, meeting prospective and existing clients in person to present and demonstrate software solutions.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, showcasing the features, functionality, and benefits of our software tailored to client needs.
  • Engage with clients to explain the technical aspects of our products, ensuring they understand how the solutions can resolve their specific business challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including cold calls, networking, and referrals.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless product implementation and support.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in field sales, preferably in software or IT-related products.
  • Experience in conducting product demonstrations and addressing client queries in a field sales context.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex software in a clear and relatable manner.
  • Proficiency in the local language is a must.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for field sales.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented.
  • Basic understanding of GST, XBRL, and business software will be an added advantage.
