Job Overview

We are seeking a Sales & Service Engineer – for Medical Devices (Male Candidate) for a full-time position located in Andaman and Nicobar. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in providing on-field technical support and service. The role includes technical skills – Troubleshooting, product installation, and maintenance knowledge, performing diagnostics and repairs to ensure seamless operation of medical equipment, thereby playing a vital part in enhancing healthcare service efficiency.

Quality and Eligibility Criteria

Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized and reputed institution.

  • Skilled in repairing, capable of disassembling, and reassembling medical equipment accurately.
  • Effective use of remote diagnostics to assess and address issues without having to be on-site.
  • Proficient in preventive maintenance planning to ensure equipment longevity and optimal performance.
  • Experience with IoT-based equipment monitoring to stay updated with the latest technology trends in medical equipment.
  • Customer Relationship Management (Mandatory skill) to build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  • Technical Problem Solving (Mandatory skill) with the ability to quickly identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficient in Local language and English.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Performing product demonstrations, installations, and application support.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through proper installation and user engagement.
  • Building long-term relationships with customers and dealers.
  • Providing training on product use, troubleshooting, and maintenance to dealers and users.
  • Conducting exclusive product promotions with frequent dealer/customer visits.
  • Working closely with regional BDEs to drive product launches based on market needs.
  • Participating in national conferences for product launches and exhibitions.
  • Achieving or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Keeping detailed records of customer interactions, sales, and service history.
  • Addressing customer complaints and coordinating with the division for problem resolution.
  • Identifying product failures for quality improvement.
  • Monitoring sales stock and spare parts inventory.
