Logistics Specialist

Job Description

Main Responsibilities

  • Process incoming orders from sales representatives in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Follow policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across functionalities to resolve issues.
  • Schedule airfreight shipments with distribution centers.
  • Produce export documentation to meet local and foreign regulations including Country of Origin, Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Valuation, Letter of Credit, and Licensing and maintain technical files for all shipments.
  • Perform inventory receiving and movement transactions in SAP S4/HANA
  • Reconcile monthly inventory balances in Finish Goods locations to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
  • Monitor performance KPI’s of transportation and warehouse service providers.
  • Negotiate, administer, and review service agreements with carriers, customs brokers, and transportation service providers.
  • Conduct analysis of alternate transportation methods and programs, along with projected cost and service improvements.
  • Assist in developing long-term logistics strategies for international shipping.
  • Expedite difficult shipping situations (e.g., dangerous goods, temperature sensitive material and field service priority orders) to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Strong in Microsoft Office applications
  • Preferred system experience with SAP S4/HANA.
  • Sound analytical abilities and great attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, written and oral (English) and interpersonal skills are critical for this position
  • Familiar with Lean Six Sigma principles
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Good in communication & stakeholder management
