In this role, you will work within a friendly and high-performing People and Culture team. You will be responsible for planning and developing a comprehensive training and development framework for the organization. Your duties will include managing and coordinating training activities, ensuring they are engaging and effective, and providing dynamic and interactive facilitation for training sessions. Additionally, you will offer project support to various initiatives within the organization and maintain our learning and development system, which requires a high level of computer skills. You will constantly seek to improve our training processes and practices and partner with the People and Culture team to address and respond to learning and development needs.

Do you have what it takes?
We are a people-focused team that pride ourselves on building strong and effective relationships – working together to support each other, our people and the business. To us, that attitude is key, so applicants will need to possess proven interpersonal and relationship building skills.
You will also possess the following;
- Adult training qualification along with a relevant tertiary qualification in industrial psychology, social sciences, business or similar.
- Minimum three years’ experience in similar roles.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications especially Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
- Advanced knowledge of virtual training delivery methods and tools.
- Excellent understanding of effective adult education methodologies and tools.
- Well-developed administrative and project management skills.
- Sound understanding of (or working towards) M?ori culture.?
- Ability to train in most, if not all of the following core training areas: HR, leadership and management, health and safety and wellbeing.
- Experience in the development of online learning programmes.
