Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Medical Sales Representative to join our team in Port Harcourt. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling medical equipment, with a focus on laboratory or hospital equipment. This role is crucial in managing sales within your designated territory, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and consistently achieving set sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Management: Drive and expand sales in the Port Harcourt region.
  • Client Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, and laboratory professionals.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct detailed product demonstrations, explaining the features and benefits of medical equipment to clients.
  • Achieving Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets while increasing brand visibility in the market.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing strategies to engage potential clients.
  • Sales Reporting: Regularly provide detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in medical technology, equipment, and products.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in medical equipment sales, particularly in laboratory or hospital equipment, or experience with Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminology and the healthcare industry.
  • Skills: Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, achieve sales targets, and address client needs effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, independent, results-oriented, and highly driven to succeed.
