Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective procurement strategies to ensure timely and efficient availability of materials and services for projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, ensuring long-term vendor relationships.
- Ensure procurement complies with company quality standards and project specifications.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contracts.
- Monitor market trends and prices to identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Work closely with inventory and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery and optimal stock levels.
- Coordinate with finance and operations teams to ensure procurement aligns with budgets and project timelines.
- Continuously assess and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
- Age: Below 35 years.
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3–4 years in a similar role, with a strong preference for candidates with an engineering or construction background.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency in ERP systems for procurement and inventory management.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, particularly for MEP or engineering projects.
- Skills:
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
