Announcement Information
We’ve invested in new technology and now have the opportunity to modernize and improve our internal business systems. We are looking for an experienced HR leader who can identify opportunities, successfully reengineer internal processes, and manage the people-side of these major changes. We’ve got great subject-matter experts in place to execute the daily functions of recruitment and employee records/data management. We need a collaborative, strategic-thinker to lead our way forward and realize the unmet potential in these areas.
General Summary
Oversees the design, planning, and implementation of countywide recruitment and official employment record-keeping programs. Identifies and implements process efficiencies. Oversees staff and operations, and ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies as well as ongoing alignment with departmental and county-wide goals. As a member of the Human Resources Executive Team, develops and executes departmental and unit-specific strategic goals. Leads project teams, special initiatives, and programming, and acts as Human Resources liaison and representative to various work teams, groups, and initiatives.
Required Minimum Qualifications
At the time of application, applicants must:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Human Resources, Organizational Learning and Development, or a related field.
- Have had at least five (5) years of full-time work experience managing Human Resources operations or supervising Human Resource functions.
NOTE: A Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field may be substituted for two (2) years of the required work experience.
- Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Pay Range
USD $103,705.00 – USD $138,945.00 /Yr.
