Logistics Management Specialist

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Support Equipment (SE) Department, PEO(A) Peculiar SE (PSE) Division, P-8/P-3/VH-92 PSE Branch supporting the E-130J PSE Team of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ. The Branch performs cradle-to-grave design, development, acquisition, and sustainment support of E-130J Support Equipment.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will lead a team to plan, manage, and execute all life cycle SE logistics efforts in accordance with Navy and SE policies and processes.
• You will create project management plans and implement strategies to meet program cost, schedule, and performance goals
• You will formulate tasks, identify resources, establish priorities, direct workload, and monitor progress in achieving program objectives
• You will identify/analyze risks and resolve complex integrated logistical support problems by developing new approaches, policies, and/or and procedures.
• You will develop presentations and brief high-level military and civilian leadership to convey information and justify acquisition logistics requirements
• You will evaluate the work of others, provide contract support and oversight, and develop/mentor junior logisticians
