Job Description

  • Work with President/GM to develop, initiate and create our strategic marketing plan and maintain brand standards while delivering consistent growth in in revenue, team database and fan engagement.
  • Develop and implement game promotions, theme nights, and manage the ballpark experience at AutoZone Park, including but not limited to game script, music, video boards, control room and in-game entertainment to achieve memorable and engaging fan experience.
  • Design and implement marketing programs to support all aspects of ticket sales including season tickets, group tickets and single game tickets.
  • Create and implement creative and unique opportunities to generate leads and database growth in emails and phone numbers across all revenue driving departments.
  • Work with corporate partnerships, retail, and special events to create revenue driving programs and opportunities,
  • Work with Special Events to develop and market non-game day revenue opportunities that attract fans beyond baseball.
  • Oversee and manage marketing budget, allocate and invest funds while tracking ROI.
  • Oversee external communications, including press releases, email marketing, and team broadcasts.
  • Develop local market partnerships & develop barter agreements to help build brand awareness & drive revenue.
  • Manage relationships with marketing agency to drive ROI through traditional and digital.
  • Develop fun and engaging campaigns, social media posts, email marketing and content aimed at generating sales, driving traffic, lead generation, top of mind awareness I the community, and user engagement.
  • Lead our graphic design & video production team and establish our overall annual creative campaign while keeping club on-brand through all communications.
  • Identify and embrace marketing trends and new technologies that help reach organizations overall business objectives.
  • Utilize SEO and social media strategies to attract new fans and enhance paid social.
  • Collaborate with Community Relations on outreach & grass-roots marketing initiatives including utilization of Rockey the Redbird and Promo Team.
  • Analyze in-stadium and digital market research surveys to help understand fan behaviors; create and implement ways to improve fan NPS scores.
  • Be on call to push/pull tarp as needed as well as set up Saturday/holiday fireworks shows.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by Senior Leadership.
  • Minimum of three years of marketing/ advertising experience
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Experience with Eloqua or similar email marketing software
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven leadership and managing a team
