About The Role

The VP of Supply Chain will oversee the end-to-end supply chain strategy, including sourcing, procurement, production, logistics, and distribution. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to align supply chain initiatives with business goals, ensuring timely product delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

– Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the company’s mission and growth objectives.

– Lead procurement activities to establish partnerships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.

– Oversee inventory management practices to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.

– Enhance logistics and distribution networks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.

– Implement supply chain best practices, including process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

– Manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

– Develop metrics and KPIs to measure supply chain performance, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

– Collaborate with production, sales, and customer service teams to ensure alignment across the organization.

– Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to drive innovation within the supply chain.

Requirements

– 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with 5+ years in a leadership role.

– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.

– Experience in e-commerce or retail environments is strongly preferred.

– Proven ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies that drive operational efficiency.

– Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and mentor others.

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

– Excellent negotiation and communication skills, capable of managing relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

– Knowledge of sustainability practices in supply chain management is a plus.

Salary

$180K – $200K
