Language: Required – Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish

Academic: Required – Associate degree and a minimum four (4) years of experience. Preferred – Bachelor’s or undergraduate degree from an accredited program/university, preferably in one of the following areas: social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology or related field of study

Certifications: N/A

Work Experience: Required – Two (2) years of additional experience in the social services field, including supervisory experience.

Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:

  • Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to thisposition.
  • Oversee case aides and assist in acceptance and distribution of project caseload to ensure all casesare accounted for and accurately assigned within the allotted time frame.
  • Monitor closing reports and closing report submissions to ensure program compliance withfederal standards.
  • Regularly report program status, including assignments, challenges and/or concerns regarding deadlinesto supervisor.
  • Track program data and waitlists daily to ensure compliance with program expectations.
  • Support the teams professional development with positive leadership.
  • Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by position supervisor.
  • Implement Compass Connections System safety protocols in case of an emergency.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations.
  • Maintain Compass Connections System professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections System employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Track regional capacity and ensure program remains at full capacity at all times.
  • Ensure case closure occurs nationally according to program and ORR protocol.
  • Ensure all cases are accurately recorded in Salesforce and that program records match censusrecords.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English and Spanish.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Foster Care Programs – Support, encourage, and recruit foster parents.

Requirements:

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
  • Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
  • Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
  • Demonstrate the ability to:
  • Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural andsocio-economic
  • characteristics.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure atall
  • times.
  • Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
  • Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member ofa
  • multidisciplinary team.
  • Lead a team effectively and supportively to achieve optimal performance.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures
