Functionality

• Develop an effective occupational health and safety management system, promote the improvement of activities in this direction of each structural unit and each official.
• Organize research into working conditions at workplaces, and inspect the technical condition of equipment.
• Conducts introductory briefing and preliminary special training and testing of knowledge on occupational safety issues.
• Participate in the investigation of accidents, occupational diseases and incidents, analysis of their causes, and development of measures to prevent and eliminate them.
• Organize:
• providing employees with rules, standards, norms, regulations, instructions and other regulatory documents on labor protection;
• recording and analysis of accidents, occupational diseases and incidents, as well as losses from these events;
• preparation of statistical reports of the enterprise on occupational safety issues;
• development of long-term and current plans for the enterprise’s work to create safe and harmless working conditions;
• Participate in the development of regulations, instructions, and other regulatory acts on labor protection that are in force at the enterprise and in the implementation of measures to create safe and healthy working conditions, rational work and rest regimes, taking into account the specifics of production.
• Control:
• compliance with current legislation, inter-industry, industry and other regulatory acts on labor protection, compliance by employees with technological processes, rules for handling machines, mechanisms, equipment, tools and other means of production, use of collective and individual protective equipment, performance of work in accordance with labor protection requirements, fulfillment of job descriptions, labor protection instructions for professions and types of work;
• compliance with regulatory acts on labor protection of buildings and structures, machines, mechanisms, equipment, vehicles, technological processes, means of accident prevention, collective and individual protection of workers,
• timely training and briefing of employees, certification and re-certification on labor protection issues of officials and persons performing hazardous work, as well as compliance with safety requirements during the performance of these works;
• providing employees with personal protective equipment, medical and preventive nutrition, milk or equivalent food products, detergents, sanitary and household premises; organizing a drinking regime, providing employees with benefits and compensations provided for by law related to difficult and harmful working conditions;
• implementation of measures, orders, instructions on labor protection issues, as well as measures aimed at eliminating the causes of accidents and incidents indicated in the investigation reports;

Wishes For The Candidate’s Experience

• Higher specialized education;
• Work experience in a similar position of at least 3 years;
• Knowledge of labor protection legislation;
• English – Intermediate or higher (conversational);
• Has practical experience in resolving complex issues, obtaining permits, and successful experience in passing inspections;
• Ability to work in a team and make responsible decisions.
