Job Purpose

To support SH HR (Recruitment & rewards) in acquiring talent at appropriate time as replacements or for new positions, coordinate the Annual Compensation Review exercise, extend the benefits to the employees as per Policy to provide appropriate motivated manpower for smooth operation.

Job Context & Major Challenges

Dhar Cement Works is integrated cement plant equipped with modern technology with an installed capacity of 6 MTPA , cement production capacity of 5.2MTPA with WHRS for power generation (33MW) and open cast mines. It manufacturers OPC 43, OPC 53 ,PPC , PPC Special grade of cement. Our Unit have AFR processing facilities to support our TSR.

Major Challenge- With organic / inorganic growth in the organization the need for meeting manpower requirement is crucial .

  • Hiring of Manpower as per Budget
  • Recruitment Cost Reduction
  • Timely Compilation of ACR exercise and Ensure 100% completion of Goal Setting of new joinees and transfer cases in poornata.
  • Hiring of Graduate Apprentices as per Apprentice Act and Timely submission of all the compliances in system.
  • Ensure Smooth joining of new employees at our unit and work on enhancing the “Feel Good Factor of New Employees” at units.
  • Prepare reports & MIS as per Management Requirement for keeping proper track on manpower.
  • Provide information related to HR systems in the unit to BHR as & when required
  • Co-ordinate for effective implementation of Performance Management as per the GHR norms.
  • To administer the compensation related activities and to co ordinate the Performance Management System.

KRA1 Recruitment To coordinate preliminary screening of applicants

To coordinate interviews of shortlisted candidates

To coordinate and execute Reference Check and Background Verification

To finalize Salary Negotiations

To prepare offers and coordinate with candidates for smooth onboarding

KRA2 Performance Management System To corrdinate and execute for timely completion of Self Evaluation and Manager Evaluation

To assist SH HR in Normalisation process in line with guidelines

KRA3 Management Information System Ensuring timely submission of HR/Manpower MIS.

Ensuring timely submission of Department Provisions

Ensuring timely submission and updation of Joining/ Exit details to concerned stakeholders

KRA4 Timely Updation of WFA and Position Management Collect, obtain and preparation of total database of all employees in BHR formats/ Templates. Submission of

compiled templates to BHR Core Poornata Team at Mumbai.

Timely updation of employee data and execution of necessary change, if any.

Submission of various statements and details to Core Poornata Team.

Coordination with Core Poornata Team for generation of new Employee ID, New Department & New Position.

Coordination with other WFA administrator of other ABG unit for timely separation & Rehire of employee in Internal Recruitment/ Inter unit transfer Cases.

Punching the employee data in Poornata in case of new Joining, Transfer case of any change in current status

KRA5 SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) along with Sustainability initiatives Ensuring 100% compliance of all safety standards and all applicable recommendations related to their concerned area.

Educating team about “I know my job”, “I know the hazards associated with my job and I applied control measures” & “I escalate to my senior” among manpower deployed in sections/department manpower including peer, WB & CL manpower

Timely conducting scheduled SO round and reporting of accidents, incidents and near misses on occurrences in the area of concern in system.

To conduct daily Tool Box Talk as schedule and before start the job any critical job along with SWP

Active participation in safety training, safety sub committees, standard champions meeting and any safety event

Ensure adherence to COVID precautions and guidelines issued by management time to time along with adherance of safety precautions on the site and off the site to be safe

Replicating good practice for saving environment for long run sustainability and creating awareness among manpower to save guard natural resources.

KRA6 System Management

(Effective implementation of IMS and other systems requirements through involvement for continuous improvement in plant working condition & quality standards) To implement improvement project to reduce repetitive problems/breakdown or losses.

Timely submission of Kaizen, OPL.

Developing and sustaining Model area in respective sections

100% active participation in respective KFA & GRT meetings and giving inputs related to bring new technology, innovation and improvements towards productivity. Conduct awareness programmes down the level team

To know about IMS and other systems requirement and documents for Non-Conformity in section during internal and external audits or assessments.

Implementation of critical spares & consumable SOP without any defilement

Identify & arrange rectification of leakage points/unsafe points along with monitor & take corrective action for emission levels.
