Job Description

As a part-time Payroll Specialist at IXOPAY, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of our payroll. You will work closely with our employees and provide them with excellent customer service. You will also work closely with the People team and other internal stakeholders to ensure that all payroll-related processes and procedures are followed and that timekeeping in payroll processes is flawless.

Position Responsibilities

  • Payroll processing: Gathering employee time and attendance data, calculating salaries, overtime, bonuses, and deductions, and generating paychecks.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintaining accurate payroll records, including employee information, pay rates, deductions, and tax filings.
  • Data entry: Inputting employee data into payroll system.
  • Reporting: Generating payroll reports for management, including summaries of earnings, deductions, and taxes.
  • Employee inquiries: Addressing payroll-related questions from employees.
  • System administration: Maintaining and troubleshooting payroll software.

Position Qualifications

  • Strong numerical skills: Accuracy in calculations and data entry.
  • Attention to detail: Ability to identify and correct errors in payroll data.
  • Organizational skills: Efficiently managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Communication skills: Clear and concise communication with employees and other departments.
  • Knowledge of payroll software: Proficiency in using payroll systems.
  • Understanding of payroll regulations: Familiarity with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
  • Confidentiality: Maintaining the privacy of employee payroll information.

Lehi, UT or Remote, US: This is a remote-friendly position with the option to work remotely on a permanent basis or work out of our Lehi, UT office.
