THE ROLE

The Talent team is the hub for applicants to a wide variety of roles across Nordic. The Talent Specialist aids the department by sourcing for talent, and interviewing, and guiding candidates through the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

The Talent Specialist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with Talent Partners in building and maintaining candidate pipelines
  • Coordinating candidates’ progression through Nordic’s hiring streams
  • Evaluating candidate applications and determining best fit for openings in any of Nordic’s current business units
  • Entering and updating candidates’ information and resumes in candidate tracking system
  • Conducting talent acquisition functions, including sourcing, resume review, and candidate screening
  • Communicating with and serving as a contact for candidates interested in Nordic
  • Coordinating with hiring managers and other internal stakeholders to support filling open roles
  • Aiding in creating team processes and assisting with process improvement
  • Organizing and prioritizing large volumes of email, calls, and internal communications
  • Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested

Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2+ years’ experience in a professional office setting required; talent acquisition, human resources, or healthcare IT industry experience preferred
  • 1+ years’ experience recruiting for EHR platforms preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with a focus on customer service
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, computers, email, correspondence, and spreadsheets
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Able to work well under pressure and within time constraints in a fast-paced work environment
  • Adaptable and able to embrace the gray with a positive attitude
  • Able to work independently as well as within a team environment

Additional Details

  • Occasional travel up to 5% of the time
