Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to manage our brands online presence across various social media platforms. This role involves daily content posting, community engagement, and ongoing strategic support to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and ensure consistency in brand messaging. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, stays updated with the latest trends, and has experience in content creation, hashtag strategy, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Tasks:

  • Post on social media platforms five days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday). Collaborate with the internal team to determine the best posting schedule.
  • Repost high-quality organic content shared by creators on WL social media.
  • Gather User-Generated Content (UGC) to repurpose for social media feeds.
  • Engage with customers by responding to Direct Messages (DMs) and comments on social media posts.
  • Update retailer documents with upcoming social media support.
  • Assist in adding relevant hashtags to scheduled posts.
  • Tag products in our Like to Shop feature.

Ongoing Responsibilities

  • Compile and present a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) report on a monthly basis.
  • Support the creation and posting of visually aesthetic content on Pinterest.
  • Keep social media strategies updated by researching hashtag trends, monitoring app updates, algorithm changes, and brainstorming timely content ideas with the team.
  • Occasionally create content for social media.
  • Assist in video editing and adding text overlays when required.
  • Design eye-catching and educational graphics in Canva for use on stories and in-feed posts.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and community engagement.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok.
  • Knowledge of hashtag strategies, social media trends, and engagement techniques.
  • Experience in using Canva, video editing tools, and other content creation software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visual aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an e-commerce or retail industry.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools for tracking engagement and performance metrics.
  • Basic knowledge of paid social media advertising is a plus.
