[iGaming] Financial Director/Controller

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Director/Controller to work with an iGaming Operator. You will be tasked with managing the financial health by ensuring accurate accounting practices, delivering insightful P&L analysis, and spearheading FP&A activities. You will partner with executive leadership to develop strategies that support business growth and financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting:

• Oversee all accounting operations to ensure accounting standards..
• Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process.
• Develop and maintain financial models to assess performance, support business planning, and evaluate investment opportunities.
• Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on detailed financial analysis.

Cash Flow & Risk Management:

• Monitor cash flow, manage working capital
• Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the company’s financial stability.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement:

• Oversee and enhance internal controls, ensuring robust financial processes.
• Drive continuous improvements in financial reporting systems and operational efficiency.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build a high-performing department.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and overall business strategy.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a senior financial role, with a strong background in accounting, P&L management, and FP&A.
• Demonstrated expertise in cryptocurrency accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
• Exceptional analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with executive management and cross-functional teams.
• A detail-oriented, proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Experience in gambling or digital media industry is a plus, but not required.

Location
