Job Description
Responsibilities
- Screen patients prior to exam day
- Assist the patient in completing paperwork
- Obtain medical history from the patient
- Escort the patient to the changing room and ensure they are dressed appropriately for the exam
- Escort patients to and from the mobile MRI or exam room
- Screen the patient for the exam – mainly MRI and CT exams
- Assist the technologist in preparing the exam table (coil selection, changing linen, etc.)
- Collate films and deliver to Radiologist
- Maintain linen inventory
- Assist with quarterly imaging inventory
- Research availability and obtain reports and films requested by Radiologist
- Serve as liaison between the Technologist and Radiologist
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have CPR certification
Prior Experience
- Minimum 0 – 2 years of experience
- Experience as a technical assistant, preferred
