About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Learning Specialist to join our growing tech team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering impactful learning experiences that empower our tech community to excel. This role is crucial in building a strong foundation for our technical talent (talent from Engineering, Design, Product, Data Science and Business Analytics areas), ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to drive innovation and deliver exceptional results.
We have a technology hub based in Durham, USA, where our technology teams are instrumental in creating increasingly better products for our customers where we have operations.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive learning strategy to the tech community: In partnership with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and the Talent team, you will design and implement a learning and development strategy that aligns with Nubank’s roadmap and talent development goals.
- Influence, guide, and coordinate learning design and delivery: You will work closely with the COEs to ensure learning experiences are aligned with the overall strategy, leveraging their expertise to design and deliver engaging programs.
- Leverage adult learning principles: You will apply adult learning principles, including the 70-20-10 model, to ensure learning is relevant, engaging, and impactful.
- Embrace digital learning technologies: You will leverage digital learning platforms and tools to create scalable and accessible learning experiences.
- Partner with stakeholders: You will collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization, including technical leaders, COEs, and HR, to understand their learning needs and ensure alignment with the overall learning strategy.
- Measure and evaluate learning impact: You will track and measure the effectiveness of learning programs, using data to inform continuous improvement and demonstrate the value of learning initiatives.
- Stay relevant to industry trends: You will stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in technical learning to ensure Nubank’s learning programs remain relevant and cutting-edge.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in technical learning, ideally within a fast-paced technology environment.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, including the 70-20-10 model.
- Experience influencing and guiding learning design and delivery processes.
- Proficiency in digital learning technologies and platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence decision-making.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to learning.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to various audiences.
- Passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Knowledge of Spanish is desirable.

Our Nu Way of Working
Our work model is hybrid and has cycles that can be from two to three months according to the business of expertise. For this position, there will be two trips to Brazil per year, with the remainder of the work conducted remotely.
