The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday.
An opportunity has arisen for an HR Administrative assistant to join our Human Resources team.
Working within the Human Resources Support and Advice Unit, the post holder will provide responsive, professional and high quality, customer-focussed Human Resources transactional services to managers and staff across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of services across a range of areas including maternity, adoption, paternity, work life balance, retirement, terms and conditions of service. In addition the post holder will also provide administrative support to the Employee Relations Team.
You will be educated to SVQ Level 3, CPP (Certificate in Personnel Practice) or have relevant experience within a Human Resources environment. Within this role you will deal with managers at all levels within the organisation, as a result you should be customer focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In addition the postholder will have excellent organisational and time management skills, along with good IT skills, excellent keyboard skills and knowledge of the full MS Office suite.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
