Assistant Brand Manager, Men’s Marketing

Job Description

As the Assistant Brand Manager you will:

  • Assist with defining and owning the brand guidelines to guarantee the brand identities, ensuring that all actions are in line with the sense of purpose.
  • Supporting new product development and launches through execution of projects on time and on budget, creating sell sheets and other promotional marketing materials.
  • Help drive brand growth through consumer engaging media, digital strategy and activations. Coordinate with the Social Media & Content Creators in the management of brand websites and social media postings by providing feedback, direction and insight.
  • Understand the market & customers clearly through conducting analysis and reports which enable you to quickly react to changing trends and use insights to influence organization and unlock growth
  • Closely collaborate with other departments (Sales, Graphic Design, Social Media, Content Creators, Purchasing, Customer Service) to help drive business growth.
  • Be an innovation ambassador by recommending unique marketing ideas through data analysis, consumer insights and watching trends of competitor brands.
  • Attending and assisting with trade shows, activations, photo shoots, promotions, and education opportunities.
  • Other duties as requested by management

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or Marketing;
  • At least 2 years Marketing/Product Management experience in manufacturing environment; Consumer Products/Personal Care category preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience and/or passion for beauty, fashion & multicultural/African American marketing a plus
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and able to work both independently and collaboratively without close supervision
  • Digitally savvy & creative; knowledgeable of current digital and social media landscape and trends
  • Effective time management & organizational skills to deal with multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of sorting/filtering data sets, and creating data charts
  • Experience with syndicated retail sales data a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 25% during peak times.
