Timely delivery of DHL packages around the globe in a way that ensures clearance process is smoother. Products in clearance services are backend services which helps clearance process by executing business rules across the globe. Clearance Rules Management Systems helps in executing the business rules which are simple to complex in nature. Rule engine scope is being extended to integate with more clients become centralized rule engine to cater the rules for clearance applications. Product is on Azure AKS, Java with spring boot, DMN’s. This role required to perform the following activities.

• Offshore Software Development / Working in virtual teams
• Public cloud knowledge
• Knowledge of ITS security requirements and policies
• ITS specific Software development approach according to ITS Process
• Experience on Automation, CI-CD, automated testing, design patterns, algorith
• Manage technical documentation according to ITS Process
• Unit testing, to build comprehensive positive/negative test cases
• Reuse of software, leveraging Inner Source possibilities
• Debugging; Version Control
• Estimation, Function Point Count, User Story Points
• Proper use of internal/development tools and code repositories
• Standard software customizing
• Source Code Quality (SonarQube, Fortify Security Scan, BU Specific requiremen
• Building and running applications in DevOps mode
• ITS Infrastructure platforms and standards, cloud offerings
• Should be able to work on US/Europe shift whenever needed to support UAT users.

As a Software Engineer having Drools/DMN is a huge plus. Very good knowledge of Kubernetes will also be an integral part of this role.

You are a technology aficionado, therefore you have a good understanding of Java/J2EE with microservices/Spring boot. You are able to work independently, prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be certainly useful.
