Job Description
JOB MISSION:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Lead to manage our Mexico business. The successful candidate will oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the company. This individual will also be responsible for applying the appropriate corporate global guidance within the local finance function while prioritizing cash conversion strategy, inventory management and treasury oversight.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Planning/Reporting:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to inform business strategies.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Financial Risk Reduction:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Proactively monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, treasury and financial risks.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) financial, and inventory metrics/ targets.
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives and growth.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in finance management or a related role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards in Mexico.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Ability to do some travel to the US.
