Program Analyst

Metrics LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Program Analyst as we compete for a contract to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) under the National Data Systems (NDS) Health Information Access (HIA) Services contract. This remote role focuses on reviewing and processing VA data access requests, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and maintaining accurate records. The Program Analyst will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support efficient and secure data access processes.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process VA data access requests, ensuring all documentation meets compliance standards.
• Analyze and validate requests, applying knowledge of data governance, research methodologies, and privacy regulations.
• Communicate with requestors and stakeholders, providing guidance on approval processes and resolving deficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including HIPAA and the Privacy Act of 1974.
• Maintain accurate documentation within designated applications and tracking systems.
• Support process improvement efforts, identifying ways to enhance efficiency and accuracy in data access management.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to reports detailing user access metrics and compliance reviews.

Requirements:

• 2 year degree in business, administration, healthcare, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Privacy Act of 1974
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and review data requests.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
