Key Responsibilities Of The Events & Marketing Executive
- Develop and execute the organic social media strategy for The g Hotel & Spa’s social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc.)
- Create and maintain a content calendar with engaging, creative, and innovative posts aligned with marketing objectives
- Attend daytime and evening events to capture live content and promote campaigns effectively.
- Monitor social conversations and competitor activity
- Collaborate with videographers, photographers, and external agencies to oversee high-quality content production and execution
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to develop and implement PR campaigns, promotions, and activation calendars.
- Work closely with the hotel’s PR agency to ensure campaigns and events are aligned with brand objectives.
- Deal with all meeting and event enquires; email, phone, walk ins
- Be responsible for updating S&C with accurate and relevant information as well as producing any reports that are required in order to measure progress and opportunity
- Ensure the function sheets are distributed to the relevant departments in a timely manner, paying particular attention to detail
- Attend weekly revenue and operations meetings
- Identify new sales leads, and secure the lead with the guidance of the Sales Director
Our Ideal Social Media & Marketing Executive Will Have
- Proven experience in social media management, with a strong understanding of platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok.
- A vibrant flair for content creation, specifically for social media
- Knowledge of PR strategies and experience working closely with PR agencies.
- Hands-on experience planning and overseeing events, including photoshoots and influencer collaborations.
- Proficiency with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively across departments and with external agencies.
- A strategically-minded approach with the view to bring The g Hotel & Spa’s social channels to new heights!
