The Opportunity
As a Quality Control Microbiology Graduate, your main responsibilities in this position include the preparation of media and diluents for microanalysis, environmental monitoring, and microbial analysis of utilities in accordance with (Good Manufacturing Practice) cGMP, (Good Laboratory Practice) GLP, and safety standards. This position requires full participation and engagement in the onsite graduate programmes, where you will also provide support for General Production activities within the Business Unit.
You will be part of an inclusive team that works to develop innovative therapies for patients.
Key Activities For This Role
- Preparation of media for microbiological analysis and environmental monitoring.
- Microbiological analysis of utilities e.g. water.
- Environmental monitoring of Production environments.
- Peer Review of data through the use of (Laboratory Information Management System) LIMS.
- Data trending, ongoing and for (Product Quality Review) PQR.
- Documenting any (Non-Conformance) NC, (Out of Trend) OOT/(Out of Specification)OOS results generated. Participation in associated investigations, assessments, (Root Cause Analysis) RCAs and (Corrective and Preventive Action) CAPAs.
Essential Knowledge & Experience
- Preference to having studied some Aseptic and/or Biologics related material.
Education/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science or equivalent.
Additional Information
- This is a 2-year, fixed-term contract.
- This is located in our Irish office (Kerry Plant, Killorglin)
- This position is on-site in [(Kerry Plant, Killorglin]. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
