We are seeking Production Assistants to join our dedicated team.
Position: Production Assistants – full-time, 38 hours a week
Location: Villawood
Role starts: January 2025

This Role Will Require You To
The Production Assistant plays a pivotal role in daily production operations. with a primary focus on operating and managing packaging machinery. This entails setting up and running designated packaging machines and statistical weighers to ensure the efficient packaging of high-quality products on a daily basis.
- Set up, operate, and monitor machines during production.
- Organise materials for processing and packaging.
- Carry out clean downs of the process/production area and machines according to procedures.
- Identify and report faults. Carry out equipment preventative maintenance.
- Batch mix ingredients.
- Work various production lines across our facility (as required).
- Comply with HACCP & GMP practices.
- Ensure product quality, complete quality checks accurately and consistently.
- Be a part of the general periodical plant and equipment cleaning.
To Be Successful For This Role You Must
- Have a great attitude, excellent work ethic, genuine desire to operate to a high standard.
- Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg, stand for the entire length of shift and be okay with stairs.
- Have experience operating powder auger fillers, ribbon blenders and linear weigh head machines, is desirable.
- Be okay with working in dusty/powder environments.
- Available to work any shift assigned (Monday-Friday). Shift hours are 6:30am – 3:30pm.
- Have a good level of English (read/understand/write).
- Be willing to work in a team.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, organized.
- Ideally, have a food production experience.
