About The Role

We are seeking a JavaScript Developer to join our team. This role is pivotal in automating key assessment workflows for candidates. Your primary responsibility will be developing, testing, and maintaining a script using Google Apps Script to extract data from CVs and interact with OpenAI. We also need the developer to be at ease with managing a database on Firestore and ideally to know Google Cloud Functions. As this is a newly created role, there is ample opportunity for growth and contribution to long-term automation strategies.

OBJECTIVES

The key objective of this role is to take responsibility for the uptime and reliability of the existing flow built on Google Apps Script, as well as to keep adding features as per the founders’ recommendations.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain JavaScript code to automate candidate assessment workflows.
  • Integrate data extraction from CVs with OpenAI API prompts.
  • Explore the best architecture to handle the data and leverage Google Cloud functions

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide feedback on process improvements for automation.
  • Participate in brainstorming and implementation of other automation.

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Experience coding in JavaScript, with a strong ability to reason independently.
  • Understanding of APIs, including integration with OpenAI.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver on deadlines.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with recruitment processes or HR technology.
  • Experience with the Google environment (Apps Script, Firestore, Cloud function)
  • Experience in document parsing and automation.
