E-Commerce Operations Manager

E-Commerce Operations Manager Responsibilities

• Streamline daily operations to improve productivity and reduce inefficiencies
• Recruit, onboard, and lead customer service and fulfillment staff, ensuring consistency and efficiency
• Identify bottlenecks, negotiate carrier rates, and enhance delivery speed through better logistics solutions.
• Ensure accurate inventory tracking, manage product listings, and maintain a fresh, trend-focused collection
• Enhance post-purchase support, improve return processes, and drive customer satisfaction
• Monitor expenses, negotiate supplier/shipping contracts, and identify areas to increase profitability
• Use sales and customer data to make strategic decisions, optimize pricing, and expand the business
• Relaunch and manage the wholesale side of the business, optimizing operations to support growth

E-Commerce Operations Manager Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations
• Experience in inventory management, shipping/logistics, and fulfillment
• Proven ability to hire, manage, and develop employees
• Hands-on experience with negotiating supplier and shipping contracts
• Strong understanding of customer behavior, sales trends, and data analysis
• Prior experience in a startup or rapidly scaling environment, implementing new processes and systems
• Experience with ShipStation and Shopify
• Background in SEO optimization and wholesale business models
