Overview
Work within the Scheels Woodshop Team to design and build fixtures for new and existing Scheels locations
Responsibilities
- Provide a world-class level of customer service to teammates and scheels.com customers
- Strong understanding of Scheels & vendor operations, buying strategy, sales & inventory systems, order management functions and reporting
- Ability to use data and analytics to uncover opportunities within the Drop Ship business that will drive profitable/sustainable growth.
- Ability to communicate those opportunities, with the intent to drive action across the Scheels Campus(buying and merchandising) teams
- Learning basic EDI documentation and managing/understanding backend software structures
- High-level attention to detail and regular input for accurate product data
- Garnering vendor support through strong partnerships for all brand/product assets from images, to copy, to product specs, and all forms of media to improve the scheels.com customer experience
- Daily monitoring of vendor/brand marketing efforts to support competitive pricing for Scheels and understanding/supporting the invoice process
- Understanding of scheels.com order fulfillment processes and logistics/supply chain systems
- Learn the ability to be organized and seamlessly handle several projects and tasks and work at “the Scheels pace”
- Ability to work independently and with the team, becoming more and more self-managed
- Strong initiative for continuous improvement

Education & Experience
- Ideal candidate will have an interest in obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Merchandising, or related field
- Retail experience is beneficial, but not required
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
