The Role

The role of Social Media Manager will be to interpret and implement the social vision across a broad range of agency clients and projects. An ideal candidate will understand how to use social media to connect brands to their audiences through impactful and innovative ‘social ?rst’ content and storytelling. This role will sit within the social media team working closely with the creative team and day-to-day responsibilities will include strategy, ideation and creation of best-in-class social media content, relationship building with key clients and leading social innovation within Feref. We are currently expanding the social team, this person would play a key role championing and leading this growth.

This role will bridge the gap between Feref and Delta and work across clients and social projects.

Responsibilities

Overarching Strategy

  • Define, plan & implement social strategies that connect the business needs of our clients with social creative that will connect to their audience including content format and platform recommendations.
  • Develop social media campaigns and strategies across TikTok, YouTube, IG, Meta, Twitter/X, Snap etc.
  • Lead on campaign ideation and planning, decks, working closely with creative team members.
  • Interpret client briefs and expectations with the creatives to get us all to the most effective campaigns.
  • Understand what success looks like and make recommendations for KPI’s and results.
  • Understand industry and consumer insights to lead clear strategic, creative propositions.
  • Develop creative briefs while liaising with the creative team during creative ideation.
  • Lead and develop talent ideas and junket recommendations for campaigns.
  • Lead the social strategic needs of campaigns for existing clients as well as new business pitches.
  • Present strategies back to client in meetings and be able to set out a clear strategic journey through slides in a presentation

Day To Day

  • Work seamlessly within the creative department.
  • Management to support client and campaign needs.
  • Ideate on social strategy and content – brie?ng in AV & design team to create assets.
  • Develop social briefs based on insights on platforms, audience and formats.
  • Develop relationships with Meta, TikTok and Twitter.
  • Develop test and learn social strategies for key clients.
  • Measure success of all social campaigns.
  • Translate social data into actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor and suggest content improvements throughout campaigns.
  • Define the most important social KPI’s for campaigns.

Internal

  • Lead strategy and content plan for Feref social channels.
  • Lead training and development within social across the agency.
  • Stay at the forefront of new trends and technologies, actively researching the latest in social media platforms.
  • Creating and posting captivating and exciting content for Feref social media channels.
  • Ensure tone of voice across social content is on brand for Feref.

Required Experience And Key Skills

  • 5+ years in working in film & entertainment within a creative social media environment, ideally within family/entertainment brands.
  • Proven work experience as a social media copywriter or similar role.
  • Experience liaising with cross functional teams to deliver on creative client briefs and planning of project delivery timescales.
  • Experience in briefing and working with designers to create social content.
  • Strong analytical mind that is able to spot cultural & creative trends and adapt accordingly.
  • Experience with editing content for social media and familiarity with editing tools such as Photoshop and Premier Pro
  • Experience working individually and as part of a small team.
  • Proven experience working with entertainment clients would be bene?cial for this role.
  • Experience in interviewing talent or directors would be a bene?t.
  • Personal qualities – ambitious, positive outlook, high energy, great team worker.
  • A self-starter with the capacity to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
