Job Overview

The Business Support Manager will form an integral part of the Learning Disability Directorate Leadership structure supporting quality, patient safety and experience, service development and service improvement.

The successful candidate will join a friendly and compassionate department who are motivated to provide the best possible care to adults seeking assessment psychological care and support. The Business Support Manager will help us achieve this aim through Administration Line Management, and by supporting core processes, attending to information governance and data quality as well as monitoring patient experience.

Main duties of the job

The Role Will Include

Providing advice and guidance to ensure effective planning, service development and project management.

Monitoring of quality indicators

Supporting and embedding audit

Collection, analysis and presentation of performance data

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Relevant degree or equivalent demonstrable knowledge and experience
  • Project management qualification or experience commensurate to the same

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Experience of working within a management structure and supporting clinical teams and departments
  • Understanding of the quality, patient safety and experience agenda
  • Experience and evidence of analysing, interpreting and presenting complex information
  • Experience of leading on projects

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of using health board systems
