Data Analyst – Finance

What You Will Be Doing

• Finance Coordination and Reconciliation:
• Act as the primary liaison with the finance team to ensure timely reconciliation and clearance of invoices.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and address discrepancies or delays in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Data Pipeline Automation and Optimization:
• Design, build, and maintain automated pipelines to collect, process, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Streamline existing data workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement tools and techniques to ensure seamless integration of data into reporting systems.
• Trend Analysis and Insights Generation:
• Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights that drive business decisions.
• Present findings in a clear, concise manner to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Develop predictive models and analytics frameworks to support strategic planning.
• Reporting and Performance Enhancement:
• Deliver TAI (Timely, Accurate, Impactful) reports, ensuring consistency and high quality.
• Continuously improve reporting processes by introducing innovative solutions to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and business impact.
• Create dashboards and visualizations for real-time monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Business Support and Ad-Hoc Analysis:
• Act as a reliable backup for critical functions and provide support during peak periods or absences.
• Handle ad-hoc business requests and develop business cases to support strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data analysis with broader business objectives.
• Systems Development and Documentation:

• Develop and implement robust systems for data reporting, ensuring scalability and long-term usability.
• Document processes, workflows, and best practices to standardise operations and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Regularly audit data systems to identify and rectify gaps or inconsistencies.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong analytical skills with 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, financial management, and reporting.
• Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Python, or data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Solid understanding of finance and invoicing processes, including reconciliation and compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
