Responsibilities
In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:
Responsible for the overall intake and administrative duties of the Care Management Team .
- Supervis e daily activity of Ca r e Management intake team personnel including participating in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Keep team informed of department updates during monthly team meetings or as appropriate .
- Work in conjunction with Director s to establish work procedures and processes that support c ompany and departmental standards, procedures, and strategic directives.
- Use appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding department or employee concerns.
- Maintain and improve UR and /or CM team’s operations by monitoring system performance; identify and resolve problems; audit and analyze staff performance; prepare and complete action plans; assist in managing system and process improvement and quality assurance programs as it relates to clinical management and plan language interpretation.
- Support and mentor Lead

Qualifications

In Order To Represent The Best Of What We Have To Offer You Come To Us With a Multitude Of Positive Attributes Including
- 3-5 years’ experience in a lead or supervisor role is required
- Associate degree required
- NCQA/URAC knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in TPA, health plan, medical management service s , medical billing, hospital or emergency services or any combination of these is required
- Minimum of 2 years of supervising a call center preferred
- Minimum 1 year of complian ce related experience preferred
- Managed Care experience preferred in UR, CM or DM

- Experience in the Utilization Review and Case Management Intake Process .
- Knowledgeable of the Federal, State and ERISA regulations

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $58,000 to $68,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
