Chief Financial Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
• Drive financial performance and long-term sustainability.
• Lead capital allocation decisions and investment strategies, particularly in real estate and other business verticals.

Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans.
• Develop financial models to evaluate business performance and investment opportunities.
• Ensure effective financial planning across all subsidiaries, including real estate operations.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Optimize capital structure, ensuring adequate liquidity for business operations and investments.
• Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management.

Real Estate Finance & Investment

• Assess real estate investment opportunities, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Monitor market trends, risks, and financial feasibility of real estate projects.
• Structure financing solutions for property development, leasing, and asset management.
• Oversee property valuation, lease structuring, and asset optimization.

Risk Management & Compliance

• Identify and mitigate financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance.
• Implement strong internal controls and risk management frameworks.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for the Board and stakeholders.
• Analyze financial performance, KPIs, and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP accounting standards.

Tax Planning & Optimization

• Develop tax-efficient structures for the holding company and its subsidiaries.
• Ensure compliance with corporate tax, VAT, and other regulatory requirements.
• Optimize tax strategies for real estate transactions and holdings.

Mergers, Acquisitions & Corporate Finance

• Lead financial due diligence and valuation of potential acquisitions.
• Negotiate financing structures for mergers, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
• Drive business growth through financial structuring and capital raising.

Technology & Digital Transformation

• Implement financial technology (FinTech) solutions for automation and efficiency.
• Oversee ERP and financial system improvements.
• Leverage data analytics for better financial decision-making.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team across all business units.
• Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with senior executives and department heads on financial decision-making.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA, CPA, CFA, or ACCA preferred.
• Experience: 12+ years of financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO role.
• Industry Expertise: Strong experience in real estate finance, property investment, and holding company structures.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in financial modeling, corporate finance, and investment analysis.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
