This CAD Designer will be based on-site at the Cleves location.
JOB SUMMARY: The CAD Designer creates and modifies detailed designs for parts, assemblies, weldments, etc. according to the established Stock Manufacturing and Design principles. These deliverables serve as inputs to Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to ensure efficient and effective fabrication can be planned and executed.
Job Duties
- 3-D Cad Design & Drafting: Translate customer data into accurate, functional, manufacturable and on time designs to satisfy our customer’s needs.
- ERP System Management: Input and manage data to allow our business to run all aspects of our business through our ERP software.
- Day-to-Day Execution: Attend meetings, collaborate professional with others, and provide ship/sales support with your ongoing projects.
- Reliability: Efficiently respond to external and internal customers regarding assignments, work efficiently with engineering’s standard operation procedures, delivering achievables in a timely manner, and on time to provide our customer’s needs.
- Interprets blueprints, data, and sketches to deliver fabrication instructions to manufacturing facilities.
- Utilizes design software while translating customer data to achieve customer needs in a time efficient manner with accurate modeling.
Candidate Requirements
- 1 year of previous experience in SolidWorks/Solid Edge required, 2-5 years of experience preferred
- Previous experience in manufacturing/production/sheet metal industry preferred
- High School diploma & relevant industry experience required, or Associates/Bachelor’s degree in lieu of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/TEAMS, ERP systems, PLM highly preferred
- Must be an approachable, hands-on team member that will jump in where needed.
