Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner / Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for our ServiceNow platform, dedicated to supporting and enhancing IT and operational workflows in a healthcare setting. This role will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring that our ServiceNow solutions align with business objectives, meet user requirements, and improve overall efficiency across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Ownership: Own and manage the ServiceNow platform as a product, including roadmaps, feature prioritization, and release planning. Champion the platform’s vision and ensure alignment with the organization’s IT and business strategy.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between IT and various business units. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs, and translating them into ServiceNow requirements that deliver tangible business value.
  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions to gather and define business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ensure these requirements are well-documented and aligned with best practices in healthcare IT.
  • Backlog Management: Create, refine, prioritize, and manage the ServiceNow product backlog. Balance stakeholder needs, regulatory requirements, and technical feasibility to deliver timely, impactful solutions.
  • Solution Design and Delivery: Work closely with developers, administrators, and other IT team members to design and implement solutions that optimize ServiceNow’s functionality for healthcare workflows, ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory standards.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish KPIs for ServiceNow modules, regularly track platform performance, and provide reporting to stakeholders. Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven insights to enhance the platform’s value.
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to ServiceNow initiatives, including communication, training, and user adoption strategies. Ensure minimal disruption and high user engagement during rollout and enhancement phases.
  • Healthcare Compliance and Security: Ensure all ServiceNow solutions comply with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and internal security policies. Collaborate with security teams to maintain a secure and compliant platform.
  • Innovation and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow developments, healthcare IT trends, and industry best practices. Identify opportunities for innovation and drive initiatives that improve process efficiency and service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or BRM, preferably in healthcare IT.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, with deep knowledge of key modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, etc.).
  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator or Product Owner certification preferred.
  • Proven experience translating business needs into technical requirements and managing product lifecycles.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
