Groathouse Construction Inc is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead commercial, industrial, and government construction projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Lead project teams, providing direction, problem-solving, and decision-making support.
  • Oversee site safety and compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Manage procurement, subcontractor negotiations, and vendor relationships.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality control.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and reports.
  • Ensure cost control and financial performance of projects.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role or industry—we will teach you our systems, but relevant experience is required.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, contracts, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling, cost management, and quality control.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed for projects (per diem provided).

Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday.
